Q1 Labs Teams with McAfee, Inc. to Provide Monitoring for Leading Security and Compliance Risk Management Solutions
Integration Delivers Simplified Log, Threat and Compliance Management for Complex Multi-vendor Networks
WALTHAM, Mass. -- February 11, 2008 -- Q1 Labs, a leading provider of network security management solutions, today announced key product compatibility plans with McAfee, Inc., the leading dedicated security technology company.
As an inaugural member of McAfee's Security Innovation Alliance, Q1 Labs has built and will validate several device support modules (DSM) that enhance event monitoring across QRadar and McAfee® ePolicy Orchestrator® (ePO™). These DSMs enable customers to monitor logs, threats, and compliance validation across their best-in-class McAfee security products, extending QRadar's reach across a broad range of network and security technologies from other vendors.

Q1 Labs' flagship product QRadar collects event, log, vulnerability, and identity data from a variety of McAfee products in order to help customers meet their log management, threat management, or compliance management needs. As a member of the Security Innovation Alliance, Q1 Labs will test and maintain its data connectors that monitor with McAfee VirusScan®, McAfee Intrushield®, McAfee Foundstone® and McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention technologies through ePO.
