Q1 Labs Announces Expanded OEM and Partnership Strategy for 2008
A Unifying Standard for Vendors That Provides Best-in-Class Network and Security Technologies to Heterogeneous Environments
WALTHAM, Mass. — January 15, 2008 — Q1 Labs, a leading provider of network security management solutions, today announced the expansion of its OEM and partnership strategy in 2008. Through its partnerships with the industry's leading infrastructure vendors, Q1 Labs will use the OEM channel to increase the adoption of its technology worldwide. The resulting technology collaborations will be 'Powered by Q1 Labs.'
Q1 Labs' QRadar uniquely combines knowledge of a company's network flow and security event information in order to better manage logs, threats, and compliance initiatives within their enterprise network. With broad support for leading network and security technologies, and the ability to provide a converged view into network and security infrastructure activity, QRadar delivers the management foundation for network self defense in any multi-vendor environment.
"We are proud to be the first 'Powered by Q1 Labs' partner and have been very pleased with the growth of our Dragon Security Command Console business and multi-year engineering collaboration," said Mike Fabiaschi, CEO of Enterasys. "Our partnership with Q1 Labs and resulting unique integration with DSCC has enabled Enterasys to enhance our Secure Networks architecture with multi-vendor log management, network behavioral analysis, and security information management capabilities. What this means for our customers is a practical, achievable way to efficiently and effectively sense and automatically respond to security incidents when DSCC is deployed in conjunction with Enterasys Dragon and NetSight network security management software."
"2008 will be a busy year for us and our partners as 'Powered by Q1 Labs' products provide new growth opportunities and offer customers the ability to choose open-architecture solutions to secure, prioritize, and enable networked applications and real-time business processes," said Shaun McConnon, CEO, at Q1 Labs. "Enterasys is a solid example of how Q1 Labs' technology delivers benefits to network security vendors and the customers who deploy their products."
