| Dave Fachetti
Managing Director, Globespan Capital Partners Dave is part of the founding team at Globespan Capital Partners and has over 20 years of experience working in or with early-stage high growth companies. Prior to Globespan, Dave was a Principal in JAFCO Venture's Boston office, where he focused on enterprise software investments. Prior to JAFCO, Dave was at Family Education Network where he was the SVP and GM of FEN's distributed content management software business. FEN was acquired in 2000 by Pearson PLC (NYSE:PSO). Before FEN, Dave was at Trans National Group where he ran and then successfully sold the company’s Canadian credit card business to Bank of Montreal (NYSE:BMO). He was also part of the founding team that developed TNG's businesses in the UK, France and Germany. In addition to his operating responsibilities, Dave contributed to TNG's venture investments group. Dave began his career at Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Dave received an MBA, with honors, from Boston University, a BBA, with honors, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is a CPA. In addition to Q1 Labs, Dave represents Globespan in its investments in Avokia, Applied Identity, Cloakware, Ingrian, Instill, Luidia, Nano Network Engines and Openpages.. | ||||||||

New Brunswick Investment Management Corp. George leads NBIMC’s direct private equity investment activities and manages external fund investments in the United States and Europe. Prior to joining NBIMC in 2002, George was an investment manager at an early-stage venture capital fund focused on the information technology and the life sciences sectors. Before that, he spent a number of years as commercial banker with a major Canadian bank. George has obtained a B.Sc., B.B.A. and M.B.A. degrees. | ||||||||
| Shaun McConnon
CEO, Q1 Labs Inc. Shaun McConnon has guided high technology start-up companies through successful IPOs. He has orchestrated multiple mergers and acquisitions, and he has held senior management positions in sales, marketing, and operations. Shaun served as CEO of Okena Inc., a next-generation network security company. He led Okena from inception to its successful acquisition by Cisco Systems in 2003. Also, as CEO of Raptor Systems, he guided that firewall security company through a successful IPO and then its sale to Axent Technologies. Prior to joining Raptor, Shaun held various executive positions with Sun Microsystems, most recently as managing director of Australian and New Zealand operations. Shaun holds a bachelor of science in biology from Roanoke College. |
